The below description and guide into the CryptoDM messaging client was last updated on 13 April 2025. Depending on continuous updates, the text or screenshots below might be outdated or missing updates. For any questions, please reach out to team@cryptodm.io. As one of our initial flagship utilities, the CryptoDM XMPT messaging client, accessible after connecting your wallet to app.cryptodm.io, enables users to send and receive messages straight from their EVM wallet. To get started, simply enter the Wallet Address you would like to message in 'find by address' and hit 'Open', as highlighted in screenshot below. Please note that any wallet you want to message must have enabled XMPT messaging before it can send or receive DMs.

Once in the client, you can send text and images to other wallet owners in a fully secure and private manner. Moreover, the CryptoDM messenger includes several Coingecko-enabled prompts to get latest Cryptocurrency price feeds. Note that the sending and receiving of messages, images and prompts comprises the v1.0 version of the Messaging client. Filecoin integration, In Messenger payments/transfers and Group Messages are among the short term updates coming up in the weeks after launch.
